Here are some example Homestay menus, for illustration purposes only. We call them “basic”, but we’re sure you’ll agree they are far from that!

Actual menus offered depend on supply of fresh ingredients, sourced either from our own gardens or from selected local suppliers. The ones shown are samples from menus we have done in the past, to give you some idea of the dining options you can enjoy when you choose to stay with us.

We can tailor your meal to cater for any special dietary requirements. Please let us know well in advance, and we’ll ensure you have a meal to remember!

Meal One

Port wine, blue cheese and leek soup

New York cut ribeye, with smoked manuka and garlic sea salt, with new potatoes and fresh leafy salad

Spicy pumpkin soup

Warm venison salad with feta and olives

Meal Three

Fresh Akaroa cod, crumbed and cooked on the BBQ, served with roast vegetable medley

Fresh berry tart, served with vanilla ice cream or cream
